This policy applies when we act as a data controller for personal data of clients, candidates, and website visitors, meaning when we determine the purpose and means of processing that data.

In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Hospitality and Outdoor. The POPI Act requires us to inform our data subjects of our intention to use their information, and to protect it from any internal or external, deliberate or accidental threats to ensure business continuity. We will take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information obtained from candidates or clients is stored safely and securely, including certificates, references, qualifications, background checks, and any other personal information needed for candidate representation. Personal information is collected directly from candidates, and we will only use or release it with their consent, except when required by law. In the latter case, we will always inform the candidate.

We collect personal information for recruitment purposes and use it to represent candidates to our clients for employment opportunities. We are responsible for ensuring that the candidate information is complete, up-to-date, and accurate, and may need to request updates from time to time. We will secure personal information against unauthorized or unlawful access or processing, and ensure that it is only used for lawful purposes with candidate consent.

Candidates have the right to know the details of their personal information held by us, as well as the identity of any authorized employees with access to it.
