A well-established hospitality operation in Benoni is seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to join its team. This role is suited to a highly organised professional with strong numerical ability. A passion for maintaining accurate inventory systems within a fast-paced hospitality environment is preferred. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient stock control, minimising losses, and supporting operational excellence across departments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in stock management along with the ability to work closely with procurement, finance, and operational teams to maintain seamless stock flow and cost control.

Job Description & Requirements:

• Manage and maintain accurate stock levels, including receiving, issuing, and reconciliation of inventory
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate variances, damages, and discrepancies
• Oversee receiving and dispatch processes, ensuring quality, compliance, and correct documentation
• Capture and maintain inventory data using stock systems such as ERP, Micros, SAP, or Pastel
• Monitor usage trends to identify wastage, shrinkage, and cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with stock control procedures, audit requirements, and health and safety standards
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to coordinate stock flow and delivery schedules
• Minimum Grade 12 with 2–3 years’ experience in stock control or inventory management
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines
