Job Requirements

• Nationally recognised qualification in Somatology, Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within the spa or wellness industry.
• Minimum 2 years’ management or supervisory experience.
• Experience within a luxury hotel, lodge, resort, or destination spa preferred.
• Proven experience managing teams and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong knowledge of retail sales, upselling, and guest engagement.
• Experience with stock control, ordering, and spa booking systems.
• Strong leadership and staff development skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts.

Job Description

• Manage all day-to-day spa operations and guest experiences.
• Oversee treatment standards, cleanliness, and operational compliance.
• Drive treatment revenue, retail sales, and therapist productivity.
• Manage bookings, scheduling, and therapist utilisation.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and develop spa team members.
• Monitor stock levels, budgets, and financial performance.
• Develop promotions, wellness packages, and seasonal campaigns.
• Conduct performance reviews and manage staff targets.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and complaint resolution.
• Produce spa performance reports and revenue analysis.
• Implement SOPs, training programmes, and quality control measures.
• Work closely with lodge management to enhance the overall guest experience.

Package:

Salary: R15,000 per month (depending on qualifications and experience)
