Regional Food & Beverage Manager

A leading group of resorts is seeking an experienced Regional Food & Beverage Manager to oversee food and beverage operations across multiple properties in South Africa. This exciting hospitality leadership opportunity is ideal for a commercially driven professional with extensive experience in food, beverage, and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, standardising recipes, optimising POS systems, improving profitability, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all resort outlets.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years’ Food & Beverage management experience, including at least 3 years in a regional or multi-property role.
• Proven experience within hotels, resorts, or hospitality groups.
• Advanced knowledge of POS systems including Micros, Oracle Simphony, GAAP, Pilot, Apex, or similar.
• Strong experience in recipe development, standardisation, costing, menu engineering, and portion control.
• Extensive knowledge of food cost management, inventory control, supplier negotiations, and procurement.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and brand standards across all properties.
• Analyse guest feedback and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and service standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Executive Chefs, Food & Beverage Managers, and operational teams.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety legislation, hygiene standards, and company policies.
• Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, profitability, and operational performance.
