A luxury 5-star hotel in Cape Town is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join its Front Office team. Duties and Responsibilities for the Night Auditor
- Welcome guests and facilitate check-ins and check-outs
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Perform daily night audit procedures and end-of-day balancing
- Reconcile guest accounts, revenue, and payment transactions
- Verify the accuracy of all room and departmental charges
- Prepare daily financial and operational reports for management
- Process cash, credit card, and account transactions
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance teams
- Maintain accurate guest records within the property management system
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
- Deliver exceptional guest service in line with 5-star standards
Minimum Requirements for the Night Auditor
- Grade 12 / Matric / Diploma or Certificate
- Previous Night Auditor or Front Office experience within a 5* hotel environment
- Experience working with Opera, Protel, or similar PMS systems
- Strong numerical, financial, and reconciliation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional appearance and presentation
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
