Hospitality and Outdoor is seeking an experienced Management Couple to join a prestigious Bush Lodge in Thabazimbi. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced lodge professionals who are passionate about luxury hospitality, guest service, and effective management within a remote bush environment. The successful couple will be hands-on leaders with a strong all-round understanding of lodge operations and a genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Job Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Management, Hospitality, or a related field is beneficial.
- Minimum 5 years’ lodge management experience OR 2–3 years’ General Management experience within a luxury establishment – Essential.
- Both candidates should have strong knowledge of all aspects of luxury lodge operations, including FOH, F&B, maintenance, finance, operations, and HR.
- Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage and monitor costs effectively.
- Proven track record with contactable references.
- Guest-focused philosophy with excellent hosting and communication skills.
- Respectful and culturally sensitive approach when working with local communities and staff.
- Strong people skills, including patience, tolerance, care, and the ability to motivate staff.
- Highly adaptable and flexible regarding working hours and shifts within a 24-hour lodge operation.
- Ability to work accurately and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to encourage and develop subordinates.
- Ability to respond positively to changing operational requirements and industry demands.
- Both candidates must be hands-on leaders and genuine all-rounders.

- R40,000 Gross per month – Negotiable depending on experience.
