Hospitality and Outdoor is seeking an experienced and professional Management Couple for a luxury lodge in KwaZulu-Natal. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a hands-on Maintenance Manager and an experienced Lodge Manager who can work together to maintain exceptional lodge standards, deliver outstanding guest experiences, and ensure efficient daily operations.
Job Requirements
Maintenance Manager
- Grade 12 qualification (essential).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Manager (essential).
- Strong technical knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical and HVAC systems.
- Experience with vehicles, basic servicing, road maintenance, facilities, machinery and equipment.
- Solar systems experience and previous lodge maintenance experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, initiative and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, presentable and well-spoken.
Lodge Manager
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or Camp Manager in a 4/5-star lodge (essential).
- Previous 4/5-star lodge management experience (essential).
- Strong understanding of all lodge operations, with a solid Food and Beverage background.
- Sound financial acumen and excellent customer relations skills.
- Semper knowledge preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office, Word and Excel.
- Professional, well-groomed and of sober habits.
- Valid driver’s licence (essential).
Package
- Salary: R50,000–R60,000 gross per month, depending on experience.
- Live-in accommodation provided on-site.
- No children or pets permitted.
