Introduction
A prestigious Big 5 Safari Lodge in Dinokeng, Gauteng is seeking an experienced Management Couple to join its professional hospitality team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work at a luxury 5-star lodge, overseeing daily operations while delivering world-class guest experiences. Join a luxury 5-star Big 5 safari lodge situated within the renowned Dinokeng Game Reserve, spanning approximately 21,000 hectares of protected wilderness. The successful couple will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, service excellence, and operational efficiency. One partner must be a qualified Trails Guide, while the other should have strong lodge management, administration, or hospitality experience.
Job Requirements
- Previous management experience within a luxury lodge, safari lodge, or high-end hospitality environment.
- One partner must be a qualified Trails Guide with relevant FGASA qualifications and valid trails guiding credentials.
- Experience working within a Big 5 environment is highly advantageous.
- Strong hospitality and guest relations experience.
- Experience in lodge administration, reservations, front office, food & beverage, or operations management.
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate lodge teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to 5-star service standards.
- Passion for the safari industry, wildlife, and conservation.
- Valid driver’s licence; PDP advantageous.
- Ability to live and work in a remote lodge environment.
