Job Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Manager (Essential).
• Tertiary qualification (Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical or related field) will be advantageous.
• Previous hotel or Hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Excellent all-round technical knowledge including Electrical, Plumbing, Building Maintenance, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Must reside in or close to Pretoria.
• Develop and implement an annual preventative maintenance schedule.
• Ensure all plant, machinery, and equipment are maintained according to schedule.
• Manage maintenance purchases and repairs with the required approvals.
• Monitor energy-saving initiatives and ensure best maintenance practices are followed.
• Prepare and manage the maintenance budget while providing monthly expenditure reports.
• Ensure the Cardex budget control system is maintained.
• Monitor contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with service level agreements, warranties, and lease agreements.

Package

• Salary: R25 000 – R30 000 per month, depending on experience.
