Job Requirements

• Previous 4/5-star Lodge or hotel experience (Essential).
• Minimum of 5 years’ hospitality experience in a supervisory or management position (Essential).
• Strong understanding of total lodge operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Hosting, and stock control.
• Oversee all day-to-day lodge operations while ensuring outstanding guest satisfaction.
• Manage budgets, cash flow, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and lead a high-performing hospitality team.
• Oversee reservations, front office, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and guest services.
• Maintain quality assurance standards and ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with travel agents, tour operators, corporate clients, and tourism partners.
• Identify business growth opportunities to improve profitability.
• Manage procurement, supplier relationships, and stock control.
• Ensure the lodge is well maintained and continuously improved.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong Food & Beverage background will be advantageous.
• Valid driver’s licence (Essential).
• Clean criminal record (Essential).

Package

• R18 000 – R20 000 per month (Depending on Experience).
• Single live-in accommodation.
