Introduction – Lodge Manager Hospitality Operations
Hospitality and Outdoor is seeking an experienced Lodge Manager to join a prestigious luxury lodge in Hoedspruit, Limpopo. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional hospitality manager with proven 4/5-star lodge experience to take responsibility for the smooth operation of the property. The successful candidate will oversee daily lodge operations, maintain exceptional guest service standards, support financial performance, and contribute to strategies that increase bookings and attract new guests.
Job Requirements – Lodge Manager Hospitality Operations
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Supervisor or Manager in a 4/5-star lodge – Essential.
- Previous 4/5-star lodge experience with a strong understanding of all lodge operations.
- Strong Food and Beverage knowledge and operational experience.
- Sound financial acumen with an understanding of lodge financial management.
- Excellent customer relations and a genuine passion for guest service.
- Fluent in MS Office, including MS Word and MS Excel.
- Experience communicating with travel agencies, booking partners and local businesses to increase bookings.
- Ability to develop and review strategies to attract new guests, including special packages, discounts and partnerships.
- Professional, well-groomed and confident when interacting with guests, staff and business partners.
- Must be of sober habits.
- Valid driver’s licence is essential.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high luxury hospitality standards.
Package – Lodge Manager Hospitality Operations
- R 30-35 000 per month, based on experience.
- Single live-in accommodation.
