Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Kitchen Stock Controller
4-Star Hotel – Tzaneen – Limpopo
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Kitchen Stock Controller to join a well-established 4-Star Hotel in Tzaneen. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented hospitality professional with a strong background in stock control, inventory management and kitchen operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate stock levels, maintaining inventory controls and supporting the efficient functioning of the kitchen department.
Job Description & Requirements:
- Manage all kitchen stock receiving, issuing and inventory processes.
- Monitor stock movement and ensure accurate stock records are maintained.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with month-end stock reporting.
- Investigate and report stock variances, wastage and discrepancies.
- Ensure all stock is stored, handled and rotated according to company standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation for received and issued stock.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments regarding stock requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering processes to avoid shortages.
- Follow company procedures relating to stock control and cost management.
- Support the kitchen team by ensuring products and supplies are available when required.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of storage areas.
- Assist management with inventory audits and operational reporting.
- At least five years of relevant experience in a four- or five-star hotel or hospitality environment.
- Relevant qualification appropriate to the position.
- Strong organisational, operational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Sound communication and administration skills.
- Experience with stock management systems will be advantageous.

Package
- Salary: R8 500 – R15 000 per month depending on qualifications and experience
