A well-established hospitality property in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Aparthotel Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy accommodation environment. This opportunity is suited to a hands-on hospitality professional with a passion for guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and effective team leadership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all departments while maintaining high service standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Working closely with operational teams, the Aparthotel Manager will drive efficiency, monitor performance and manage budgets. They will also ensure compliance with company policies and hospitality best practices.
This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage multiple responsibilities, lead by example, and create a positive working environment. Strong organisational abilities, commercial awareness, and a guest-focused approach are essential for success in this position. Candidates should have a solid understanding of accommodation operations and be confident in managing people, processes, and guest expectations within a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Job Description & Requirements:
- Oversee all daily operations including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, reservations, guest relations, and property presentation.
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining service standards and responding effectively to operational challenges.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, training, performance management, and overall team development.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, stock control, reporting, revenue performance, and operational efficiency.
- Implement and maintain company procedures, health and safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotel, aparthotel, or accommodation management is essential.
- Strong leadership, communication, administration, financial, and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and guest focus
