A respected resort group needs an experienced Group Food & Beverage Manager to lead food and beverage operations across its resorts. This role suits a hands-on hospitality leader who enjoys structure, service, people, and results.
The successful candidate will guide outletteams and improve daily performance. In addition, they will support service standards, stock control, cost management, and guest satisfaction. Therefore, the role needs someone who can lead with confidence and follow through with practical action.
The position also requires regular support across different properties. As a result, the candidate must adapt well, communicate clearly, and keep operations consistent. This is a senior role for a professional with strong resort, hotel, lodge, or multi-outlet experience.
Job Description & Requirements:
- Lead food and beverage operations across multiple resort outlets.
- Support outlet managers with planning, service, training, and daily controls.
- Improve guest service, team performance, and outlet standards.
- Monitor budgets, stock movement, purchasing, margins, and costs.
- Manage supplier relationships and maintain purchasing standards.
- Drive sales opportunities, promotions, menus, and service improvements.
- Ensure teams follow hygiene, safety, and operating procedures.
- Coach, mentor, and motivate food and beverage staff.
- Review service flow and solve operational issues quickly.
- Travel between properties when operational support is needed.
- Bring senior food and beverage management experience.
- Show proven resort, hotel, lodge, or multi-outlet experience.
- Use strong stock control and financial management skills.
- Communicate well with teams, suppliers, and senior management.
- Manage pressure while keeping service professional and guest focused.
Package
- Salary: Total Cost to Company will be R35 000 – R40 000. This will include:
- Accommodation at one of the resorts
- Company Vehicle
- Petrol Card
- Basic salary portion to be discussed during interview
