Are you an experienced General Manager with a passion for luxury hospitality and lodge management? An exclusive luxury lodge in the Northern Kruger is seeking a dynamic, hands-on leader to oversee daily operations, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and lead a dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional with a strong background in high-end lodge management, financial control, and operational excellence.
Job Requirements
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Management or Hospitality is beneficial.
- Minimum 5 years of lodge management experience or 2–3 years of General Manager experience in high-end establishments (Essential).
- Strong financial acumen and excellent command of English.
- Proven management track record and contactable references.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all lodge operations, including front of house, food and beverage, maintenance, finance, operations, and HR.
- A guest-focused philosophy with excellent hosting and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, support, and manage a diverse team.
- Ability to monitor operational costs, implement cost-control measures, and maintain financial efficiency.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing shifts and working hours in a 24-hour lodge operation.
- A patient, professional, and adaptable approach to changing business and operational requirements.
Package
- Salary: R60,000–R70,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience.
- Single live-in accommodation and meals provided.
- Regrettably, no pets or children permitted.
