A well-established boutique hotel in Plettenberg Bay is seeking a young, ambitious, and highly motivated General Assistant to join its team immediately. This live-in opportunity is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys guest interaction and thrives in a hands-on environment. The property prides itself on delivering highly personalised service, making guest satisfaction the heart of the operation.
The successful candidate will assist the Manager with the day-to-day running of the hotel and provide support across multiple departments when required. As guests are the primary focus of the role, applicants must be well presented, professional, confident, and possess excellent communication skills. Strong organisational and management abilities are essential, along with a willingness to lead by example and contribute wherever needed.
This position offers excellent exposure to all aspects of boutique hotel operations, including guest relations, housekeeping, kitchen oversight, stock management, events, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, energetic, and committed to maintaining exceptional service standards.
This is a live-in position that includes en-suite accommodation, meals, and laundry facilities. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s licence and have their own transport. Salary: R9,000+ per month (Negotiable depending on experience)
