Introduction

A prestigious luxury safari lodge in the Greater Kruger Area, Limpopo, is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead its hospitality team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the lodge industry in one of South Africa’s most renowned safari destinations. The role requires strong food and beverage management expertise, exceptional guest relations, and a passion for luxury hospitality standards.

Job Requirements and Personal Attributes

Proven experience in a Food & Beverage management role within a luxury lodge or hospitality environment
Strong food and beverage service background with wine knowledge; sommelier experience advantageous
Leadership and team development skills with a guest‑centric approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Strong stock control, ordering, and supplier relationship management
Organisational and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure
Detail‑oriented, quality‑driven, and commercially minded
Warm, professional, and confident leadership presence
Creative eye for aesthetics and presentation
Honest, dependable, and solutions‑focused

Package

Market related salary DOE
Live‑in position with company accommodation and meals while on duty
Contribution towards medical aid
7.5% provident fund contribution
