New Vacancy – Financial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager professional to join its growing group of businesses based at the prestigious V&A Waterfront. This exciting opportunity within the hospitality, property and investment sector is ideal for a commercially minded finance leader with experience managing multiple entities, trusts, property portfolios and international transactions.

As a Financial Manager, you will oversee the full financial function across companies, trusts and property-holding entities operating both locally and internationally. The role offers exposure to consolidated reporting, taxation, compliance, budgeting, financial controls, trust accounting and cross-border financial management. This position is suited to a hands-on professional who can provide strategic financial guidance while ensuring complete financial accuracy and compliance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CA(SA), CIMA, SAIPA or equivalent qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Financial Manager role.
• Proven experience managing multiple companies, trusts and property entities.
• Strong understanding of South African tax legislation and trust compliance.
• Experience with consolidated reporting and intercompany transactions.
• Knowledge of multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange processes.
• Experience with international payments and cross-border transactions.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, PAYE, UIF, SDL and income tax compliance.
• Experience with Compensation Fund and COIDA requirements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using Xero, Sage, Pastel or similar accounting software.
• Strong analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Hospitality industry experience advantageous.
