A prestigious luxury lodge group based in Pretoria is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join its finance team. This opportunity is ideally suited to a detail-oriented finance professional who has completed articles and is looking to apply their expertise within a dynamic hospitality environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, supporting business performance, and maintaining accurate financial records across the group. This role requires a strong understanding of financial management principles, reporting standards, budgeting, and controls. Previous exposure to hospitality, tourism, hotel, lodge, or multi-property environments will be highly advantageous.

Job Description & Requirements:

• Oversee day-to-day financial control functions and accounting processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning activities.
• Ensure statutory compliance, tax obligations, and financial governance.
• Support operational teams with financial analysis and performance reporting.
• Monitor internal controls and recommend process improvements.
• Completed accounting articles is essential.
• Non-CA candidates preferred.
• Strong financial reporting and management accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Previous hospitality, hotel, lodge, tourism, or related industry experience advantageous.

Package

• Salary: R35 000 – R40 000 per month
• Live-out position
