An established multi-property hospitality operation in Paternoster is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, controls and operational finance across its portfolio. This position is suited to a commercially minded finance professional who understands the complexities of hotel or hospitality accounting and can provide accurate, timely financial information to support business decisions.
The successful candidate will bring proven multi-property experience and strong working knowledge of Xero. Experience interpreting reports generated through Opera or MICROS would be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable Finance Manager who can maintain financial discipline while supporting the operational requirements of a busy hospitality group.
Job Description & Requirements:
- Manage financial processes and reporting across multiple hospitality properties.
- Prepare accurate management accounts, financial reports, forecasts and supporting schedules.
- Monitor budgets, expenditure, cash flow and overall financial performance.
- Maintain effective internal controls, financial procedures and reporting standards.
- Support management with relevant financial analysis and commercially focused recommendations.
- Coordinate accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations and general ledger functions.
- Ensure financial records remain accurate, complete and ready for review or audit.
- Work closely with property management and operational departments to improve financial accountability.
- Provide consolidated reporting and identify financial trends across the property portfolio.
- Demonstrate previous financial management experience within a multi-property environment.
- Hospitality, hotel, resort or accommodation-sector finance experience is strongly preferred.
- Advanced and practical Xero experience is essential.
- Opera or MICROS reporting knowledge would be advantageous.
- Possess strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail, organisation and deadline management.
- Communicate financial information clearly to operational and senior management stakeholders.
- Demonstrate integrity, sound judgement and the ability to manage confidential financial information.
