A prestigious 5-star lodge situated in Limpopo is seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead and elevate its culinary offering. This is a rare opportunity for a passionate and creative chef to take full ownership of a refined dining experience within an intimate luxury environment.

As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for shaping the culinary identity of the property, ensuring all menus reflect both creativity and consistency at the highest level. You will lead a small, dedicated kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Role

Design and execute innovative, seasonal menus using local and sustainable produce
Lead, mentor, and inspire a small, passionate kitchen team
Collaborate with hotel leadership to enhance the overall guest experience
Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, taste, and consistency
Manage budgets, food costs, and supplier relationships effectively
Act as a culinary ambassador, engaging with guests and supporting marketing initiatives

The Candidate

3-5 Years’ experience as an Executive Chef in 5* Lodge
Must have culinary degree / certification
Strong creative flair with knowledge of modern culinary trends and wellness dining
Excellent leadership, training, and communication skills
Ability to drive innovation and elevate the culinary brand
Strong financial acumen and operational management experience

Salary: Market related / Live in Position
Start Date: November 2026
