An exceptional opportunity is available for a professional Couple to join a leading Safari Lodge in Zululand, KwaZulu-Natal as a Trails Guide and Assistant Lodge Manager. This exciting Lodge position offers the perfect combination of wildlife conservation, outdoor adventure, hospitality, and guest service. We are seeking an experienced Guide and hospitality Manager who can work together to create memorable guest experiences while maintaining high operational standards. Job Requirements
Trails Guide:
- FGASA-qualified Guide with a valid Trails Guide qualification.
- Valid First Aid certification and relevant guiding permits.
- Strong wildlife, ecology, and conservation knowledge.
- Previous experience leading guided walks and safari activities.
- Excellent guest interaction and interpretive skills.
- Valid driver’s licence and PDP advantageous.
Assistant Lodge Manager:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Lodge Manager, Duty Manager, or Lodge Manager.
- Strong understanding of luxury Lodge operations.
- Excellent guest relations and hosting abilities.
- Experience in staff supervision, administration, and reporting.
- Knowledge of reservations systems and operational procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Couple Requirements:
- Ability to live and work together in a remote Lodge environment.
- Professional presentation and positive attitude.
- High levels of attention to detail and guest service.
- Passion for hospitality, conservation, and the safari industry.
