Introduction
Hospitality & Outdoor is recruiting an experienced Manager for a luxury Camp located in the Bela-Bela area of Limpopo. This exciting Safari opportunity is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional with a passion for exceptional Guest experiences, operational excellence, and luxury lodge management.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the camp, ensuring that the highest standards of hospitality, service delivery, staff performance, and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained. This role requires a mature and proactive leader who can confidently oversee all departments while actively engaging with guests and supporting the overall success of the property.
Applicants with proven luxury safari lodge or tented camp management experience will be given preference. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected safari operation in one of Limpopo’s premier wildlife destinations.
Camp Manager Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior hospitality Manager role.
- Previous experience in a luxury Camp, safari lodge, private villa, or high-end hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Exceptional Guest relations and hosting abilities.
- Experience managing the complete guest journey from arrival to departure.
- Strong Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and operational management experience.
- Knowledge of stock control, purchasing, and financial administration.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office and hospitality systems.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Professional presentation and communication skills.
- Passion for the Safari and hospitality industry.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of operations.
Package
- Salary: R16,000 – R18,000 per month, depending on experience.
- Single live-in position.
- Accommodation provided.
