Assistant Lodge Manager to join their close-knit team. This exciting opportunity is ideal for a hospitality professional who is eager to grow their career while gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of lodge operations in a luxury environment.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless guest experience while supporting management in the day-to-day running of the lodge. This position requires a well-rounded individual who is confident in both guest-facing and administrative responsibilities, and who thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard setting. From overseeing guest services to managing internal team operations, you will be instrumental in maintaining the exceptional standards expected in a 5-star reserve.
You will be working closely with the Lodge Manager, Operations Manager, and Owners, and may step into a leadership role when required.

Job Requirements & Duties for Assistant Lodge Manager Job
- Oversee all daily guest experience activities and ensure 5-star service delivery
- Manage administrative duties, reporting, and lodge operations
- Supervise and train staff on standard operating procedures and service standards
- Coordinate human resource functions, including team performance and development
- Create and maintain guest service SOPs
- Monitor and enhance food and beverage service levels
- Act as Lodge Manager during their absence
- Report directly to Owners, Operations Manager, and Lodge Manager
- Deliver exceptional hosting while maintaining authority and leadership
Ideal Candidate for Assistant Lodge Manager Job
- Fluent in English
- Hospitality qualification (degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience (5* environment preferred)
- Strong personality with excellent guest engagement skills
- Solid administrative and organizational abilities
- Mature, reliable, and able to handle responsibility

R22 500 DOE + Accommodation
