New Vacancy – Temp Sous Chef
Restaurant – Stillbaai, Western Cape
Requirements:
- Formal Chef Qualification (Diploma or Accredited Qualification)
- 5+ years Chef Experience
- Predominantly restaurant environment experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations
- Creativity and ability to produce exceptional food
- Cost and stock control proficiency
- Menu planning and costing expertise
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of health & safety and fire emergency procedures
- Computer literacy
- Driver’s license and own transport
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
Responsibilities:
- Capability to train and guide kitchen staff
- Innovative and honest with sober habits
- Able to work under pressure
- Independent and proactive with strong initiative
- Supervise kitchen operations and maintain high food standards
- Collaborate with the Executive/Head Chef to meet goals
- Train and support kitchen staff
- Ensure all dishes meet standards and accommodate dietary requirements
- Manage operational budgets and stock control
- Maintain stringent cleaning measures
- Clear communication
Package on Offer:
- R15 000pm depending on experience
- Accommodation & Parking provided
