Restaurant – Stillbaai, Western Cape

Requirements: 

  • Formal Chef Qualification (Diploma or Accredited Qualification)
  • 5+ years Chef Experience
  • Predominantly restaurant environment experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations
  • Creativity and ability to produce exceptional food
  • Cost and stock control proficiency
  • Menu planning and costing expertise
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of health & safety and fire emergency procedures
  • Computer literacy
  • Driver’s license and own transport
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English

Responsibilities:

  • Capability to train and guide kitchen staff
  • Innovative and honest with sober habits
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Independent and proactive with strong initiative
  • Supervise kitchen operations and maintain high food standards
  • Collaborate with the Executive/Head Chef to meet goals
  • Train and support kitchen staff
  • Ensure all dishes meet standards and accommodate dietary requirements
  • Manage operational budgets and stock control
  • Maintain stringent cleaning measures
  • Clear communication

Package on Offer:

  • R15 000pm depending on experience
  • Accommodation & Parking provided
