Spa Manager

Luxury Hotel – Bantry Bay, Cape Town

Requirements and Responsibilities

• Somatology qualification or similar (essential)
• Minimum 5 years spa management experience at a luxury high end property
• Excellent spa product and treatment knowledge
• Computer literate (POS systems, MS office suite, reservation systems)
• Excellent communication skills- written and verbal (English)
• A positive and can do attitude with flexibility to work around operational hours and guest’s requirements
• Team player who works closely with other management to ensure efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Daily supervision of spa operations such as hygiene and cleanliness, standards of treatments, supplies stocked, cash ups and helping with treatments
• Supervising all spa operations like scheduling, training, ordering supplies, opening and closing of Spa
• Managing daily operations of the Spa including placing and tracking orders for spa supplies and equipment within budgets.
• Strong business mind and understanding of costs, gross profit, and driving sales targets- motivate therapists to reach targets
• Strong leader who leads by example- self-motivated and detail oriented
• Strong sales background- Excellent Guest relations
• Proactively look for new opportunities to increase the overall experience of the spa for guests and staff alike
• Takes initiative through researching new techniques and products and organising the implementation thereof to stay on the latest trends
• End of month stock takes and reporting
• Driver’s License Essential
• Only South African candidates or Candidates with Valid work permits will be considered
