New Vacancy – Restaurant Front of House Manager

Requirements
- Minimum 2 – 3 years’ supervisory or managerial experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Proven experience in training and developing staff in customer service and operational excellence
- Matric
- A Hospitality Management Diploma or similar will be highly advantageous
- Strong ability to lead, motivate and manage a diverse front-of-house team, including waitstaff and hosts
- Experience in scheduling, delegation, and performance management
- Experience in designing and delivering training programmes to enhance service standards and efficiency
- Ability to mentor staff and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests and resolve issues effectively
- Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure outstanding customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with FOH operations, including reservation systems, table management, and POS systems
- Understanding of health and safety and compliance regulations
- Ability to handle high pressure situations calmly and make quick decision
- Analytical skills to identify operational challenges and implement improvements
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail in maintaining service quality and operational standards
- Energetic, approachable, and passionate about the hospitality industry
- Professional demeanour with a commitment to excellence
- Adaptable and open to feedback and new ideas
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by the business
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding task associated with FOH such as moving tables and carrying trays if needed.
Package
- Salary: R15 000 – R20 000 depending on experience
