Night Auditor

Requirements:

• Matric Essential- A tertiary qualification in hospitality or similar will be very advantageous
• 2 -3 years proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a 4/5-star establishment.
• Proficiency in night auditing processes and generating financial reports.
• Familiarity with property management systems and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries, manage room availability, and handle VIP arrivals/departures.
• Positive attitude with exemplary customer service skills.
• Physically fit to handle heavy luggage and extended periods of standing or walking.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to stay focused under pressure.
• Professional demeanour with a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform night audit duties, including reconciling accounts, balancing cash drawers, and preparing financial summaries.
• Check front office records for accuracy and compile daily property performance reports.
• Greet and assist guests upon arrival, handle luggage, and provide exceptional hospitality.
• Review room availability, manage early arrivals/departures, and handle wake-up calls efficiently.
• Address guest inquiries promptly and courteously, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
• Handle unexpected situations overnight with professionalism and initiative.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
