Lodge Manager

5* Safari Lodge – Sabi Sands, Kruger Park

 

Requirements

  • Recognised Tertiary qualification in Hospitality or similar (Advantageous)
  • At least 3-5 years Hospitality Management experience in a 5* luxury Big 5 environment (Essential)
  • Excellent understanding and execution of all aspects of the lodge operation (F&B, FOH, Finance, HR, Operations, Field Guide, Maintenance etc)
  • Busy, hands on individual, who leads by example and likes to upskill the workforce
  • Excellent communication skills (Fluent English Essential)- verbal and written
  • Strong financial acumen- Front office control, budgets, stock control and variances- understands the need to effectively control costs and wastage
  • Excellent Customer Relations- Constantly analyses and improves the guest experience
  • Computer Literate- MS Office, POS systems, Reservations systems
  • Professional and well groomed
  • Proven record of working effectively with staff
  • Valid Driver’s license essential (PDP beneficial)
  • Only South African citizens or valid Work permit holders will be considered for this position

 

Package on offer

  • Salary: R22 000 neg D.O.E
