Lodge Manager

Luxury Lodge- Addo Area, Eastern Cape

An intimate luxury safari lodge in the stunning province of the Eastern Cape is looking for an all-rounder manager to manage the daily operations.

Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in either Management or Hospitality (Beneficial)
• At least 2 years Hospitality experience in a lodge manager role at a Luxury Safari Lodge (Essential)
• Excellent Customer Relations skills and must thrive on hosting guests
• Excellent understanding of 4/5-star lodge operations, especially Food and Beverage, Front of house, Duty management and Hosting
• Understand and run systems to control department budgets (Stock control, Forecasting, Cost Control)
• Must be computer literate (Ms Office, Excel, email, understanding of hospitality systems- POS and reservations)
• Excellent admin skills- organised and efficient
• Detail oriented and hands on- sets the example for the staff
• Experience in managing a small team of staff
• Can identify maintenance issues and schedule repairs
• Professional, friendly and well groomed
• Honest, hardworking team player who has proven leadership qualities and shows a passion for the staff and the industry.
• Valid SA driver’s License Essential
