Lodge Manager

5* Safari Lodge- Inland Kwazulu-Natal

Looking for a well presented and mature Lodge Manager who can manage a property that demands a unique blend of leadership, meticulous attention to detail, pro-active and willing to go the extra mile with profound dedication to delivering an unforgettable guest experience.

Requirements

• Tertiary Qualification in Hospitality or Related (Essential)
• At least 5 years Hospitality Management experience in a 4/5* luxury Big 5 environment (Essential)
• Strong and stable work history with recent contactable references
• Excellent understanding and execution of all aspects of the lodge operation (F&B, FOH, Finance, HR, Operations, Field Guiding, Maintenance etc)
• Busy, hands on individual, who leads by example and likes to upskill the workforce
• Excellent communication skills (Fluent English Essential)- verbal and written- Zulu and Afrikaans beneficial
• Thrives on hosting guests and exceeding their expectations with detailed and personalised service
• Strong financial acumen- Front office control, budgets, stock control and variances- understands the need to effectively control costs and wastage
• Excellent Customer Relations- Constantly analyses and improves the guest experience
• Computer Literate- MS Office, POS systems, Reservations systems
• Professional and well groomed
• Proven record of working effectively with staff
• Driver’s license essential (PDP beneficial)

Package on offer

• Salary: R30 000- R35 000 D.O.E
