Lodge Manager

5* Boutique Safari Lodge – Komatipoort, Kruger Park

Strong and adaptable Lodge manager needed for this beautiful Boutique Safari Lodge on the banks of the Crocodile River. All round managerial experience in a luxury safari lodge will serve you well. The job will never be boring, but will require a strong trouble shooter with great team playing skills!

Requirements

• Recognised hospitality related Degree or equivalent (Essential)
• At least 4 years’ experience in a managerial role in a 4/5-star safari lodge operation
• Excellent understanding of all functions within a lodge operation
• Strong Front Office experience- Reservations and Front of house
• Hands on in all departments- Oversee and stand in wherever needed, help with all management duties, ie staff, HR, Stock control, Housekeeping and F&B
• Excellent Customer Relations
• Very adaptable and hands on- used to the long physical hours of hospitality
• Computer Literate (MS Office suite and reservations/ POS programs) INNkeeper experience preferred
• Well spoken, takes initiative and leads by example for the team
• Detail-oriented, organised and responsible
• Proven record of managing staff effectively and empathetically
• Professional and well groomed
• Driver’s license essential, PDP highly beneficial

Package on offer

• Salary: R18 000- R20 000 D.O.E
