Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a chef in one establishment
- Tertiary qualification as a chef will be beneficial
- Excellent command of the English language
- Drivers license and own vehicle essential
- Energetic, proactive person with well-developed concept pf the importance of providing a world-class guest experience and the ability to provide that experience
- Strong references and a clean track record mandatory
- Ability to produce innovate and modern dishes to the highest of standards
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Excellent understanding of kitchen procedures and timing requirements
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Working knowledge of Health, Safety and hygiene practices
- Able to collaborate and work positively as part of a team
- Able to act decisively and quickly when necessary
- Good judgement in all situations
- Professional and presentable
- Creative problem solver
- Honest and reliable
- Basic administrative skills
Package
- Salary: R10 000 – R15 000 Depending on Experience
