Requirements

 

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a chef in one establishment
  • Tertiary qualification as a chef will be beneficial
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Drivers license and own vehicle essential
  • Energetic, proactive person with well-developed concept pf the importance of providing a world-class guest experience and the ability to provide that experience
  • Strong references and a clean track record mandatory
  • Ability to produce innovate and modern dishes to the highest of standards
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Excellent understanding of kitchen procedures and timing requirements
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Working knowledge of Health, Safety and hygiene practices
  • Able to collaborate and work positively as part of a team
  • Able to act decisively and quickly when necessary
  • Good judgement in all situations
  • Professional and presentable
  • Creative problem solver
  • Honest and reliable
  • Basic administrative skills

 

 

Package

 

  • Salary: R10 000 – R15 000 Depending on Experience
