Deputy General Manager

As the Assistant General Manager, you’ll play a key operational and leadership role within the hotel. Working closely with the General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of all departments, delivering exceptional guest service, and fostering a positive and professional work culture. You’ll act as a vital link between senior management and department heads to ensure our guests receive the highest standard of care and hospitality.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Senior Manager of a Hotel, Resort, Country Hotel or Lodge (4/5-star establishments preferably).
• Oversee daily hotel operations across departments including Food & Beverage, Reception, Housekeeping, Reservations, and Maintenance.
• Working knowledge of hotel systems (PlusPoint, Apex, or Central an advantage).
• Excellent staff management (rosters, discipline, training, motivation etc)
• Knowledgeable and experienced around food and beverage in a hospitality environment
• Good at internal processes design, refinement, and management
• Strong financial acumen (stock takes, night audits etc)

Package on offer

• R 25k per month depending on experience and compatibility.
