HR Administrator

5* Safari Property- Grahamstown, Eastern Cape

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant Diploma/Degree with a completed SDF course qualification
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Strong Communication skills- English must be excellent (verbal and written – Xhosa speaking is an advantage
  • Candidates from the Eastern Cape especially close to the Grahamstown/PE
  • Knowledge of Cathsseta online system for annual WSP as our SDF is advantageous
  • Computer literate on MS office suite – Knowledge of Sage People 300 payroll is advantageous
  • Basic knowledge of BCEA, LRA, SDA and EEA
  • Good inter-personal skills- great with people and communicates honestly and fairly
  • Professional and presentable
  • Very detail oriented with strong admin skills
  • Drivers Licence required

 

Key Performance Areas:

  • Primary purpose of the job is to assist the HR manager with daily HR related tasks
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating staff files
  • Minute taking at hearings and other forum meetings
  • Co-ordinating training in conjunction with external training providers
  • Capturing all training completed for WSP purposes
  • Assisting HoDs with setting up shortlists and interviews for recruitment
  • Capture leave and other payroll info on Sage People 300
  • Answer minor HR queries and confirmation of employment queries
  • Assist with generating UIF forms
  • To liaise with HR manager to report anomalies, variances and new ideas for improvements
