Requirements 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ as a Housekeeping Manager (5-Star luxury, safari, establishment-Essential) 
  • Computer literate (MS Office) 
  • Good command of the English Language (verbal & written) 
  • Sound knowledge of Housekeeping, Laundry, and Public Area Service procedures. 
  • Sound knowledge of stock procedures and control. 
  • Sound knowledge of product and supply, and sound knowledge of hygiene. 
  • Contactable references 
  • Solid work history 
  • Professional and well groomed 

 

Description 

  • Management of staff and the department.   
  • Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned and prepared, maintain cleanliness of all vacant rooms daily to the property and company standard.  
  • Management of multiple laundries.   
  • Provide training to the departments staff.   
  • Set and upkeep standards for the department.  
  • Control the procurement and stock of the department.  
  • Supervise the lodge cleaning and preparation to achieve standards 
  • Report any issues with lodge furnishings.   
  • HR related tasks for your department 
  • Focus of service excellence 
  • Communication with staff and lodge management is crucial 
  • Provide a list of maintenance issues 
  • Control and monitor Department budget.
