New Vacancy- Housekeeping Manager 

Luxury Hotel in Cape Town 

Requirements 

• Valid RSA Driver’s License 

• Proficient in MS Office and Email 

• Exceptional Guest Relations skills 

• Ability to manage staff 

• Understanding and ability to manage the housekeeping department 

• Ability to plan ahead and problem solve 

• Financial experience in budget control, stock takes and stock control 

• Previous experience in a 4/5-star hotel as a housekeeping manager is compulsory 

Description 

• Management of the Housekeeping function 

• Good planning and organizational skills  

• Self-motivated, organized and disciplined work ethics 

• Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned and prepared, maintain cleanliness of all vacant rooms daily to the property and company standard. 

• Ensure turn down service is performed to the property and company standards. 

• Safekeeping and monitoring of laundry and housekeeping equipment 

• Ensure all information available on guests are collected and communicated prior to arrival. 

• To manage and monitor all costs and implement measures to control them. 

• Maintain discipline in the department according to company standards, address deviations according to disciplinary company standards.
