5-star Hotel – Camps Bay – Western Cape

 

Requirements

 

  • Hospitality Management diploma or similar highly advantageous
  • 5-star Hotel experience essential
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • 3 – 4 years’ experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel setting
  • Strong background in fine dining, including knowledge of cuisine, wine, spirits, and high-end service standards
  • Ability to train and develop staff to maintain high standards of service
  • Skilled in setting clear goals, conducting performance reviews and motivating staff to deliver exceptional service.
  • Capable of handling guest complaints in a calm, professional manner
  • A deep understanding of 5-star customer service expectations and ability to exceed them
  • Experience in managing budgets, forecasting and ensuring profitability
  • Proficiency in cost control, inventory management and pricing strategies to balance quality and profitability
  • Ability to oversee multiple aspects of the restaurant simultaneously
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure the restaurant meets the luxury hotel’s high-standards in all aspects
  • Build strong relationships with guests, corporate clients and local influencers
  • Proficiency in restaurant POS and hotel PMS
  • Willingness to work long, irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to handle the high demands and fast pace of a luxury restaurant environment with poise
  • Maintain high standards in appearance and conduct
  • Warm and engaging personality to create a memorable guest experience
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and solve unexpected challenges

 

Package

 

  • Salary: R20 000 – R25 000 per month, depending on experience
  • 50% contribution to medical aid and provident fund
