Hotel Operations Manager

5 Star Boutique Hotel- Sandton

Requirements

  • 5 years of Senior Management experience in a similar (5 star) environment – preferably lodge or resort.
  • Diploma in hospitality, business administration, or a relevant field (Preferred)
  • Experience with hotel financials, HR and food & beverage department and ideally also with the local business market
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written,
  • Basic knowledge of IT systems, with Microsoft and hotel reservations systems,
  • Experience to handle with OTA’s, and experience with PAN Hospitality would be a strong preference
  • Understanding of the 4/5* standards and guidelines
  • Build and maintain effective working relationship with all key stakeholders and business partners both internal and external ensuring that all communications and activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner
  • Recognizing and pursing the Company’s strategic Economic and Financial objectives, and to systemize all systems
  • Ability to drive and deliver on all financial targets is essential
  • Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence, time, and energy
  • Outstanding analytical and strategic skills improving the business from a financial perspective
