Hotel Operations Manager
5 Star Boutique Hotel- Sandton
Requirements
- 5 years of Senior Management experience in a similar (5 star) environment – preferably lodge or resort.
- Diploma in hospitality, business administration, or a relevant field (Preferred)
- Experience with hotel financials, HR and food & beverage department and ideally also with the local business market
- Fluent in English, spoken and written,
- Basic knowledge of IT systems, with Microsoft and hotel reservations systems,
- Experience to handle with OTA’s, and experience with PAN Hospitality would be a strong preference
- Understanding of the 4/5* standards and guidelines
- Build and maintain effective working relationship with all key stakeholders and business partners both internal and external ensuring that all communications and activities are controlled and undertaken in a timely manner
- Recognizing and pursing the Company’s strategic Economic and Financial objectives, and to systemize all systems
- Ability to drive and deliver on all financial targets is essential
- Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
- Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
