Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position in a luxury lodge environment
- Food hygiene or Professional Cookery Qualification
- Knowledge of dietary and religious requirements
- Good knowledge and understanding of stock procedures and control
- Passion for food and personal growth within the company
- Candidate needs to be self-motivated and versatile, display a ‘go – team attitude’ and understand that hard work comes with the territory.
- Exposure to multiple sections in the kitchen.
Description
- Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with daily preparations.
- Ensure that all food is being prepared to the highest standards.
- Willing to assist in all departments in a restaurant!!!
- Ensure efficient work with the focus on completing the task within the time available and to the standard set.
- Assisting with Stock control and month end procedures
- Being able to thrive in a rural environment as well as work place.
Package on offer

- R7 000 – R 8 500 pm
