New Vacancy – Head MICE Reservationist

Luxury Hotel – Cape Town – Western Cape

Our client, a Luxury Hotel in Cape Town, is seeking a magnificent Head MICE Reservationist that maximise occupancy, revenue and provide exceptional service to their guests.  

Requirements           

• Matric essential
• Hospitality Management Diploma or similar will be advantageous
• At least 3-5 years of experience in hotel reservations, with specific exposure to group bookings or events.
• Experience with MICE operations in a hotel setting is highly valued.
• Familiarity with large-scale event coordination, working with corporate clients, and handling high-volume bookings.
• Proficiency in Property Management Systems
• Understanding of Event Management Tools and Online Group booking systems
• Knowledge of MICE-specific strategies, pricing and event logistics
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders
• Leading a team, resolving conflicts and ensuring excellent guest service
• Managing complex group bookings and coordinating event logistics
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to negotiate group rates, event contract and service packages
• Efficiently managing multiple reservations, events and deadlines

• Salary: R25 000
