Restaurant – Bedfordview 

Requirements:

  • 2 – 3 Years previous experience in a restaurant environment (Essential)
  • Sound knowledge of the Hot section (Essential)
  • Extensive knowledge of grilling techniques and meat preparation
  • Food Hygiene or professional cooking qualifications (Beneficial)
  • Knowledgeable of all dietary and religious requirements
  • Passion for food and personal growth
  • Team Player

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with daily preparations.
  • Ensure efficient work with the focus on completing the task within the time available.
  • Assisting with Stock control and month end procedures
  • Ensure all grilling standards are implemented as required by the owner
  • Prepare and grill high-quality meat dishes to perfection
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the grill station
  • Comply with all relevant checklists and evaluations set out by the owners
  • Provide excellent customer service

Package on Offer:

R 7 000 per month depending on experience
