Front Office Manager

5* Safari Lodge – Kruger Park Area, Mpumalanga

Excellent Opportunity for a Front Office Manager with a strong background in Reservations to join this beautiful 5* Boutique Safari Lodge on the outskirts of Kruger.

 

Requirements

  • At least 5 years in a Front Office Manager/Reservations role in a luxury safari lodge (ESSENTIAL)
  • Diploma or equivalent in Hospitality related Qualification will be beneficial
  • Excellent Customer Relations- Must be willing to help in the Front of House department- not be office bound
  • Strong Reservations Experience- Must be able to manage the complete Res function- INNKeeper experience will be very beneficial
  • Computer literate- email, MS Office Suite, Reservation systems, POS systems
  • Excellent Financial Acumen
  • Extremely detail oriented and organised
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written
  • Sound knowledge of all departments within hospitality
  • Professional and well groomed
  • Sales driven and guest oriented- build relationships with clients to create loyalty
  • Excellent Managerial and leadership skills
  • Valid Drivers License Essential

 

Key Performance Areas & Main Duties:

  • Team player with high regard for efficiency and service excellence to clients
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills, constantly implementing and improving systems to streamline systems within the Front office
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage tasks independently
  • Must lead the staff from the front and must be very hands on, checking daily that protocol is being followed in accordance to 5* standards
  • Good planning and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Self-motivated, organized and disciplined work ethics
  • Maintain effective customer relationships and actively resolve guest complaints
  • Ensure accurate detailed capturing of reservations (providing accurate information, quoting, booking, etc.)
  • Maintain client database to ensure all guest information/details are complete
  • Assist with maintaining an efficient administration system within the department

 

Package on offer

  • Salary: R 15 000 – R20 000 D.O.E
