Requirements:

  • Grade 12 and a relevant qualification.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a 4/5-star hotel.
  • Customer service background.
  • Budgeting and cost control skills.
  • Strong people management and coaching abilities.
  • Consistent, fair leadership style.
  • Excellent hosting and guest engagement skills.
  • Strong communicator with team and guests.
  • Results-driven and focused on high standards.
  • Proactive and aligned with business goals.
  • Committed to service excellence.
  • Team player who can work independently.
  • Organized with strong admin skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines and handle pressure.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
  • Handle duty management and guest interactions.
  • Maintain front office standards and procedures.
  • Achieve budget targets and control costs.
  • Ensure team is knowledgeable about on-site and local services.
  • Train, develop, and lead the front office team.
  • Foster relationships with other departments.
  • Reconcile guest charges, deposits, and commissions.
  • Handle admin tasks like guest feedback, reports, forecasts, and day sheets.
