Requirements:
- Grade 12 and a relevant qualification.
- 2-3 years’ experience in a 4/5-star hotel.
- Customer service background.
- Budgeting and cost control skills.
- Strong people management and coaching abilities.
- Consistent, fair leadership style.
- Excellent hosting and guest engagement skills.
- Strong communicator with team and guests.
- Results-driven and focused on high standards.
- Proactive and aligned with business goals.
- Committed to service excellence.
- Team player who can work independently.
- Organized with strong admin skills.
- Able to meet deadlines and handle pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
- Handle duty management and guest interactions.
- Maintain front office standards and procedures.
- Achieve budget targets and control costs.
- Ensure team is knowledgeable about on-site and local services.
- Train, develop, and lead the front office team.
- Foster relationships with other departments.
- Reconcile guest charges, deposits, and commissions.
- Handle admin tasks like guest feedback, reports, forecasts, and day sheets.
