New Vacancy – Food & Beverage Trainer

4-Star Hotel – Cape Town, Western Cape

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Food & Beverage industry, focusing on training or supervisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, service standards, and menu development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate teams.
  • Proven ability to design and execute effective training programs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A tertiary qualification in training, hospitality management, or a related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update training materials for Food & Beverage roles (servers, bartenders, kitchen staff).
  • Lead interactive training sessions, workshops, and hands-on demonstrations in various settings.
  • Support new hires during onboarding, ensuring familiarity with company policies and standards.
  • Assess and refine training programs using feedback and performance metrics.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to foster continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay current with menu offerings and presentation styles; share knowledge with staff.
  • Train staff on health, safety, and sanitation practices to ensure compliance.
  • Emphasize exceptional customer service in all training programs.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and align initiatives with company goals.

Package on Offer:

  • R20 000 pm depending on experience
