Finance Manager

5* Resort – Mozambique

 

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • A relevant Qualification in bookkeeping, accounting or similar (essential)
  • At least 3-5 years in a similar position preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Be responsible for the full financial function- All cash, Debtors, Creditors, Imports, Staff wages, Stock and month end
  • Oversee all departmental month ends on the accounting program – assist HODs and check variances and GPAs
  • Assist with stock takes, ordering and procurement in all departments if required.
  • Manager on Duty when required.
  • Management reporting as required.
  • Cover of Finance and Stores Managers whilst they are on leave.
  • Any other duty that might be reasonably assigned to you by the General Manager.
  • Excellent trouble shooting skills ad very adaptable to a changing environment
  • Strong financial sense- experience and skill- to deal with a variety of different requests
  • Happy to work hospitality hours as needed
  • Very detail orientated and organised- understands the pressure of a ffast paced environment
  • Excellent people skills- enjoy working with people in all walks of life- friendly and helpful with guests if need be.

 

Package:

  • Salary: R25 000- R35 000 Gross (D.O.E)
  • Live in, meals on duty etc (unfortunately no pets or dependents can be accommodated)
  • Other company benefits to be discussed
