Luxury Guest House – Swellendam, Western Cape

Requirements:

Matric
At least 3 years Hospitality experience (Essential)
Good understanding of the Front of house, Reservations, Housekeeping and Food and Beverage Operations
Excellent Customer Relations
Fluent in MS Office, MS Word & MS Excel
Excellent command of the English and Afrikaans Languages (verbal & written)
High level of telephone etiquette & excellent all-round communication skills
Ability to work flexible hours
Professional and well groomed
Driver’s license

Duties:

Guest Relations: Address and resolve guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner to ensure a positive experience.
Guest Assistance: Escort guests to their rooms and provide necessary information about the facilities and services available.
Quality Control: Inspect the cleanliness and condition of guest rooms and common areas to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with management to contact and coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs and upkeep as needed.
Hands-On Leadership: Assist with the cleaning of rooms and premises as necessary, demonstrating a hands-on approach to management.
Staff Supervision: Oversee a team of 4 to 5 employees, while ensuring that staff report to the owners directly, maintaining clear lines of communication.
