Assistant Management Couple

5* Safari lodge- Kruger Area, Mpumalanga

A position has just opened for an Assistant Management couple at a stunning Safari Lodge in a private game reserve near Kruger. The couple must have good management experience in luxury safari lodges with a great all-rounder type background. A great opportunity for a versatile and responsible junior management couple to gain some great experience.

Requirements:

• ​Diploma or Degree in Hospitality (beneficial)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing high-end safari lodges
• Professional demeanour, maturity, and excellent presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to manage the lodge when the GM couple is on cycle
• Strong passion for nature and safari activities- able to discuss and sell these interactively
• Excellent all round lodge operations knowledge- shared knowledge in maintenance, front of house, housekeeping, food and beverage, admin etc
• Excellent Knowledge about wine and food- can recommend pairings etc
• Proven people skills in staff and guest relations- enjoy hosting and being available for guests during service time
• Ability to multitask, adapt to changing business needs, and think critically
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail and highly organised
• Experience in overseeing maintenance and ensuring high standards of lodge upkeep
• Sound employment history with contactable references.
• Valid driver’s licenses (both) PDP beneficial. Must have own transportation.

Package:

• Salary: Market related (neg D.O.E)
• Live-in accommodation (cannot accommodate children or pets)
