Assistant Camp Manager

5* Safari Camp- Central Kalahari, Botswana

An interesting opportunity for a Motswana candidate with a unique set of skills, including leadership, operational excellence, and cultural sensitivity. You will be responsible for managing lodge operations, vehicle maintenance & upkeep, reserve management, firefighting, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and contributing to the growth and profitability of the organization.

Please note: this position is only open to relevant Botswana Citizens

Requirements:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Hospitality ie: Lodge Management, Tourism etc
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in the hospitality industry with at least 4 years in a similar type position
• Strong maintenance and reserve experience: Able to manage the conservation and upkeep of the reserve side- vehicles, game drives, concession permits, firefighting equipment etc
• Lodge operations- able to manage the daily operations of the camp and ensure guests are looked after to 5* standards
• Exceptional people skills with both staff and guests
• Mature, responsible individual who is used to remote working!
• Organised and detailed- ensures all operations are running smoothly and to schedule
• Must have a valid Driver’s license

Package:

• Salary: 10 000- 15 000 BWP per month D.O.E
• Live in (unfortunately no pets/ dependents)
